Financial Feasibility of Blockchain Mining

02/06 @Coderbunker

We all know that investing in cryptocurrencies can be a lucrative move, however, like all things profitable, it is full of risks. Whether someone is investing in the more famous coins such as Bitcoin, Ethereum and Ripple or in ICO’s, there always carries an associated cost/benefit. @Coderbunker, Todd Tang will introduce a lesser known method of earning money through cryptocurrencies, Mining.

Straying away from the usual talks about blockchain at Coderbunker which are focused on the technical aspects of this exciting technology and potential societal impacts surrounding blockchain, this talk focuses on analysing the financial feasibility of blockchain mining from a cost/benefit and risk analysis perspective with the hopes of better educating individuals about this potentially profitable area.

However, we also acknowledge that there is still the technical aspect of setting up mining machines that many individuals lack. At Coderbunker, there is already a community of people actively mining and we hope to create an even larger community around mining with those that have previous experience setting up miners with people who have not.
