AR/Unity Workshop at Coderbunker

Accelerated Introduction to Unity

Want to learn how to make games? Come and join us in the Unity workshop!

On January 21st 2017, we will kickoff a new co-learning session around Unity and VR at Coderbunker (Shanghai Xuhui, 1199 Panyu Road, building 3, underground). This is the first session, and there will be more to come in February and March.

What is Unity

Unity is a 3D game engine available for Windows, Mac OS and Linux. First released in 2005, it's now the most widely used 3D game engine in the world. Today, Unity is able to build for 21 different platforms (including mobiles, desktop platforms, gaming consoles and web browsers). C# being its main programming language (Javascript and Boo being the two others options), it makes Unity a very quick and efficient tool to prototype a game or a 3D application. It has very user friendly interface and its component based approach makes it a really powerful editor.

Speaker Simon Moisy

Simon has been working as a freelance developer for 7 years and is an expert in Unity development. One of his recent contracts was with Disney Shanghai. His projects bring magic into reality. As a Coderbunker member he sees an opportunity to connect with people who are passionate about Unity and VR. Come and meet with Simon and other talented and interesting members at Coderbunker, and start to create your own games!
